Choi's Public ad·min·is·tra·tion
I am currently a Public Administration and Policy Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Georgia. My academic journey and professional practice are primarily focused on the sectors of public/nonprofit management, collaboration, and civic engagement.
I am in the process of conducting in-depth studies in diverse fields, which include but are not limited to nonprofit management, nonprofit finance, cross-sectoral collaboration, governance, and volunteerism.
Before transitioning into academia, I devoted 12 years of my life to serving various international public and nonprofit organizations. This rich experience has equipped me with a unique, pragmatic understanding of public policy, its implementation, and the management of public and nonprofit sectors. I pride myself on being able to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of individuals, ranging from undergraduates to mid-career professionals.
My professional expertise, in combination with my rigorous academic training, empowers me to bridge the gap between social science theory and the urgent, real-world issues prevalent in public sectors. I strive to connect these seemingly disparate realms, shedding light on theory through the lens of practice, and vice versa.
